Flexible course loads
Take a light load of 3-6 credits or a full load of 15-18 credits. You decide what works for your life and your goals. You can have a career, care for a family, travel, or serve in the military while earning your degree. Or you can study as a full time student if that works for you. You can also pause your enrollment for up to three terms in a row without having to reapply to UF Online.
Study on your schedule
The majority of your courses in UF Online are asynchronous, meaning you can participate at times that are convenient for you. At the beginning of each semester, your instructor provides you with a detailed syllabus of activities for the entire course. Then you plug these deadlines into your schedule so you can work to meet them at the times that are best for you.
Access coursework on the go
UF Online courses are designed to give you access to learning materials, software, and assignments from any device—laptop, tablet, desktop, and smartphone—from any location. You can feel confident that no matter where you are, your education is with you.
Academic advising
You won’t have to go it alone – we’ve got you. Your UF Online advisor is your co-pilot for your educational journey all along the way. Your advisor will help you chart your course and stay on track.
