UF Online Bachelor Programs Rank Among Nation’s Best

Ranked 11th (tie) overall, UF Online bachelor programs scored 92 out of a possible 100 points. U.S. News evaluated schools in four categories – student engagement (40 percent); faculty credentials and training (20 percent); student services and technology (20 percent); and peer reputation (20 percent).

UF Online performed particularly well in two categories. For student services and technology, UF Online was in the top 20 nationally at 16th when areas like student debt and technology infrastructure were examined. For student engagement, the program was in the Top 25 nationwide at 21st place when the survey examined areas such as graduate rates, retention and class size.

“We are extremely pleased that our online programs have been recognized among the nation’s best academic institutions, especially considering the comprehensive methodology used by U.S. News in evaluating programs,” says Evangeline Cummings, Assistant Provost and Director of UF Online. “Students in our online programs earn the same degree as their on campus counterparts, and we pride ourselves on providing the same rich and engaging academic experience as well. This ranking is a validation of those efforts.”
