Business Administration
Minor
The business administration minor provides non-business UF undergraduates with an overview of the major functional elements of business. The program includes exposure to the fundamentals in accounting, economics, legal aspects of business, finance, management and marketing, allowing students the opportunity to supplement their education with a better understanding of business concepts.
Note: this minor is not open to business majors.
A minor will allow you to explore personal interests, satisfy intellectual curiosity and the ability to differentiate yourself from peers among job prospects. Likewise, by declaring a minor, you can add the factor that could set you apart when applying to graduate schools. Whether you choose to do a minor to complement your degree or optimize your educational career, a minor will without doubt give you more value.
