U.S. News & World Report Ranks UF Online No. 1 for the Second Year in a Row

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida has sustained its leadership role nationally in online education with an announcement by U.S. News & World Report. Announced today, the U.S. News & World Report 2023 awarded the University of Florida the #1 ranking for the best online bachelor’s program in the United States for the second year. In addition, U.S. News is now recognizing UF Online as the #1 online program for veterans and active-duty service members, given the University’s commitment to academic quality, including faculty credentials and student retention and graduation, on top of UF’s certification for participation in the GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon program.
Furthermore, U.S. News is also recognizing the University of Florida’s online bachelor’s from the Warrington College of Business, ranking the UF Online bachelor’s in business administration (B.S. and B.A. pathways) as the #1 online business bachelor’s program in the nation. The UF College of Liberal Arts and Sciences also earned the #4 spot in the nation for their online bachelor’s in Psychology.

In addition to its #1 overall rank, UF Online’s business bachelor’s degree program rises to #1 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report 2023, tied with Arizona State University. UF Warrington College of Business allows students to earn their bachelor’s degree in business from anywhere in the world via UF Online, making the prestigious program accessible and obtainable to more students.
UF Online rises to #1 for Veterans across the nation
UF Online also rises to #1 in the nation for bachelor’s programs for veterans pursuing higher education. UF Online has been ranked #4 in the nation to earn a psychology degree online. Offered through the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, students can earn a prestigious University of Florida bachelor’s degree online. UF Online prepares students for a wide range of related careers, including graduate study in psychology or advanced professional programs.

UF Online currently supports over 4,000 students that learn and engage from 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and 23 countries around the world.
Many students take advantage of UF Online’s unique course structure, which allows them to obtain their degree while leading busy lives and juggling other obligations. This added flexibility proves convenient for non-traditional students, with 29 being the average age among UF Online’s student population. According to a recent student survey, 66% of UF Online students are employed and 40% work full-time while earning their degree. Meanwhile, 29% of students are caregivers to dependents or other family members during the course of their studies.
