GAINESVILLE, Fla. – UF Online, the University of Florida’s online bachelor’s degree program, announces a new partnership with Amazon for its Florida, Georgia, and Alabama workforce. Effective for fall applicants to UF Online, qualifying Amazon team members are now eligible via the Amazon Career Choice to have their UF tuition and fees directly covered by their employer as they earn one of 25 UF bachelor’s degrees via UF Online.

Recently ranked the No. 1 online bachelor’s degree program in the nation according to the U.S. News & World Report, UF Online strives to increase Floridians’ access to the University of Florida through new partnerships. This year, UF launched the UF Online Gator Pathways program, which is designed to welcome students across life stages and geography to earn their UF bachelor’s via UF Online. This partnership with Amazon is another aspect of Gator Pathways, whereby UF Online partners with employers to remove barriers for their workforce to earn their UF degree while meeting the same admissions standards as all UF applicants.

We’re thrilled to welcome Amazon into Gator Pathways, our program that combines the power of the University of Florida with the flexibility and affordability our modern college students deserve. Plus, with UF Online’s low tuition and fees, Amazon workers can maximize the value of their Career Choice Program benefits. Amazon is leading the way in defraying the full costs of college, and we can’t wait to see the results they can achieve.Dr. Evangeline Tsibris Cummings
